St. Augustine, FL - Let us entertain you at this exciting event marking the 20th Season of the Limelight Theatre. To celebrate Limelight's 20th Anniversary in grand style, the Limelight Board of Directors is hosting an Emerald Anniversary Gala production as the Theatre's major fundraiser. This season's show--Twenty Songs from Twenty Seasons--is a fun-filled musical revue featuring live performances by cast members and musicians from some of Limelight's most popular productions.



Some of the fabulous acts include not only veterans of the Limelight stage, such as the cast from Gypsy - one of Limelight's most popular musicals, but also a cast from Theatre Jacksonville will perform selections from I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, a medley from Godspell sung by students from the St. Johns County Center for the Arts and a song from The Fantasticks by the St. Augustine Community Orchestra, featuring students from Murray Middle School's Chorus/Drama Department. In addition, Limelight is thrilled to announce the Gala will include performances from local guests including the singing ensemble Vivace, and singer/actor Lee Weaver as well as others.



The Emerald Anniversary Gala performance will run for one night only and is being held at the beautiful Flagler College Auditorium in historic downtown St. Augustine on Saturday, January 14, 2012. The tickets, at only $75, include reserved seating for the Gala show, a two-hour, pre-show cocktail party at the historic Lightner Museum featuring an open bar, hors d'oeuvres and a light dinner catered by Gypsy Cab Co. and Raintree Restaurants -- both members of SAiRA, the St. Augustine Independent Restaurant Association. The cocktail party is from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. followed by the performance at Flagler College auditorium at 8:00 p.m. This opportunity is limited to 300 patrons.



General admission tickets are also available for $40 per person which will include the show, desserts and coffee at intermission in the auditorium lobby.

Box Office Hours:

Tuesday - Friday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Saturdays: 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. (open Saturdays only when there is a performance)

Performance Days: 90 minutes prior to curtain



Location/Parking:

Limelight Theatre is located at 11 Old Mission Avenue in downtown St. Augustine. Free parking is available in private lots next to and directly behind the Theatre.
