Limelight Theatre's 1940s Swing Theme Gala to feature 7-piece swing band
Annual fundraising event set for Jan. 31 at National Guard Armory
St. Augustine, FL - Limelight Theatre's 23rd Annual Gala will feature The Bay Kings Band (7-piece group from the Tampa area) that plays a variety of classic songs, from jazz to pop, and everything in between.
Tickets are $100 per person, with a charitable tax deduction as provided by law.
The event will be memorable, entertaining and fun, with the goal to raise funds for St. Augustine's only year-round, community theatre.
This fundraising event has a 1940's Swing Club theme, with dinner, open-bar, dancing, and silent auction.
Limelight's Swing Club runs from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at the Mark Lance National Guard Armory, 190 San Marco Ave., St. Augustine.
Haute cuisine from some of St. Augustine's finest restaurants will be on the menu. Cocktails and appetizers will be served at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m.
Dancing will continue throughout the evening.
